The Alberta Practical Nurse Jurisprudence module will test your understanding of the laws, regulations, bylaws, and practice standards that govern the LPN profession in Alberta.
This interactive module was developed by the CLPNA. Successful completion of the Jurisprudence module is a registration requirement for select applicants.
Current Alberta LPNs are NOT required to complete the Jurisprudence module, but the CLPNA encourages registrants to take the module as part of their own Continuing Competence Program learning.
As part of the registration process, applicants who are assessed to complete the Alberta Practical Nurse Jurisprudence module will have access to the module through their MyCLPNA account. Follow the below instructions:
CLPNA members with a current Active or Provisional registration practice permit may take the Alberta Practical Nurse Jurisprudence module at any time. Follow the below instructions:
